Student member applicants must be a current law student enrolled in a Securities Arbitration or Law Clinic and/or be employed by a PIABA Member. Upon receipt of a Student Member application, it usually takes three days to finalize the review and admission process. In general, Student Members have access to the on-line PIABA Bar Journal, Awards and Arbitrator Databases, PIABA Bar Journal Articles, Expert Resources and Student Membership Directory.
Investors in some states with limited income or small dollar claims who find it difficult to locate counsel may wish to contact one of the Securities Arbitration Clinics. The clinics are staffed by law students who work under the supervision of faculty members and arbitration practitioners at the sponsoring law schools.
