Mediation in the age of Coronavirus:  Even though most of the country has scaled back on stay at home orders of some variety, court closings are still a reality (with social distance policies being implemented throughout the country), and thus, parties to claims, litigation, and arbitrations are adapting quickly to virtual litigation activities that are customarily done in person.  This includes virtual depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

In this timely one hour Webinar, experienced mediators Kathy Adams and Jeff Abrams will lead participants through a nuts and bolts presentation on how to conduct a mediation via Zoom or other alternatives to in-person sessions. The Program will present an overview of mediation; identify issues and challenges in participating in mediation without the benefit of in-person presence; offer recommendations for offsetting these challenges; and walk participants through the mechanics and components off an online Zoom mediation session.

The webinar is open to all PIABA members. This program does not include continuing education credit.

Scheduled for 60 minutes, the webinar will begin at 3:30 pm edt; 2:30 pm cdt; 1:30 pm mdt; 12:30 pm pdt.
