Profile

Prior to forming the Wolper Law Firm, Mr. Wolper was a partner with a national law firm, where he spent the first fourteen years of his career representing the largest Wall Street banks and brokerage firms in large dollar securities matters. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of the securities industry and how brokerage firms evaluate cases.  This experience and insight, coupled with his focus, work ethic and trial readiness, gives Mr. Wolper a competitive advantage above his peers.

Matt Wolper is a trial lawyer who focuses exclusively on securities litigation and arbitration. Mr. Wolper has handled hundreds of securities matters nationwide before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), JAMS, and in state and federal court. Mr. Wolper has handled and tried cases involving complex financial products and strategies ranging from traditional stocks and bonds to options, margin and other securities-based lending products, closed/open-end mutual funds, structured products, hedge funds, and penny stocks.

Mr. Wolper earned his undergraduate degree from the Florida State University and obtained his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated summa cum laude (top 2% of his class), and was a member of the Nova Law Review
