Kurta Law is a New York City based law firm founded by Jonathan Kurta, which specializes in representing investors nationwide with respect to arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, or FINRA, as well as state and federal courts. We have recovered millions of dollars of investment losses on behalf of investors and are regarded as experts in our field, appearing in ABC News, New York Magazine, Huffington Post, NY Post, Real Deal Magazine and Scotsman Guide.
We handle claims by individual investors, institutional investors and investment groups against stockbrokers, investment advisors, and other securities-industry professionals for unethical, negligent, or incompetent investment practices, including breaches of securities industry standards. We work only for investors and do not represent investment banks or stockbrokers.
Our attorneys bring experience from large national law firms and have previously defended stock brokers and investment banks, gaining valuable insight for our current clients. We have the Wall Street and big law firm experience necessary to get the job done and advocate on your behalf.
Mr. Kurta received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law where he served as an Editor of the Labor and Employment Law Journal. He also graduated from New York University, where he earned his B.A. in both political science and psychology.
