Sponsored by Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA), Current Issues in Securities Arbitration will be held at The Washington Court Hotel from 8 am - 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Although the program is open to all individuals, this one-day CLE program is designed for attorneys, paralegals, regulators, educators, experts, consultants, mediators and (securities) arbitrators.

2019 PIABA Hill Day
PIABA Hill Day is Friday, April 5, 2019 in Washington, DC. Individuals participating in Hill Day are encouraged to attend the Current Issues in Securities Arbitration program as the last two sessions of the program will include substantive discussions regarding Hill Day topics and Hill presentation. Breakfast will be provided on Friday morning. Lunch is on your own. Following the conclusion of the Hill Meetings, participants are invited to join the PIABA Board of Directors for a reception from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.

Although the program is open to all individuals, this one-day CLE program is designed for attorneys, paralegals, regulators, educators, experts, consultants, mediators and (securities) arbitrators.The program includes six (6) sessions addressing recent Developments in FINRA Dispute Resolution, FINRA Expungement, Discovery Issues in FINRA Arbitration, Representing Claimants in RIA Cases, the Legislative Process and PIABA Hill Day Training.

Mid-Year Meeting Registration - Mid Year Meeting Registration Form
PIABA is now accepting meeting registrations for Current Issues in Securities Arbitration which will be held at The Washington Court Hotel from 8 am - 5 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019. PIABA Members registering prior to February 22, 2019 are eligible for the early bird registration fee of $295. After February 22nd, the Member registration is $350. Other category registration fees are available below. Prior to March 4, 2019, Registrants may cancel their meeting registration and receive a full refund (less a $50 cancellation fee). After that date, there are no meeting registration refunds.

Mid-Year Hotel Reservation - Mid Year Meeting Hotel Reservation Form
The host hotel for the program is the The Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC 2001. To receive the group rate of $269 (plus applicable taxes), hotel reservations must be made through PIABA. The final date to confirm a room at the group rate is March 1, 2019. If the PIABA block sells-out prior to March 1st, rooms will be confirmed on a space available basis at the rate provided by The Washington Court. Changes or cancellations to hotel reservations must be received in writing in the PIABA Office on or before March 29, 2019. Mid-Year Meeting Continuing Education
PIABA will apply for continuing education accreditation in all States where registrants request CLE credit on the Meeting Registration Form. In general, registrants may expect to receive 5-6 hours of credit. PIABA will apply for MCLE credit for individuals registered by February 28, 2019. After that date, PIABA will assist registrants seeking credit for the meetings, but will not be responsible for filing CLE applications or the application fees.

PIABA reserves the right to change speakers and/or session topics at any time for any reason without notice. Audio and video taping of conference events, general sessions, and break-outs is strictly prohibited.
